Let’s get the sound back.
Most setup issues come from macOS Input Monitoring. Start with the three checks below.

Open the app once
Move Typeity to Applications, open it, and finish the setup screens.

Grant Input Monitoring
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring and enable Typeity.

Quit and reopen
macOS may not apply the permission until Typeity starts again.
